This will guide you through how to setup the basic features of SnailBot. This does not cover the miscellaneous commands.
Automated Feed Setup has drastically changed since v2.2, taking advantage of buttons, select menus, and forms to help you set up your news feed.
Upon typing /enablefeed
, Discord will show you a partial list of supported news providers. You can either choose one from the list or keep typing to narrow your search.
Supported news providers:

crossout
enlisted
steam
rss
twitter
smite
forza
blizzard
league
You will be given a choice of which channel(s) you want SnailBot to post in. The first choice will specify which channel devblogs and general news should go to.
The second choice will specify which channel changelogs should go to. Select a channel from the list that SnailBot provides, using Next Page
or Previous Page
to see all channels on the server (if the server has more than 25 channels).
SnailBot will not allow you to configure news with both devblog and changelog channels disabled.
You will then be asked if you want role mentions to be enabled. If enabled, SnailBot will mention a role whenever a new post is created. You can choose one from the list using Next Page
or Previous Page
to see all channels on the server (if the server has more than 25 channels).
If you do not want to have role mentions enabled, click the disable button.
You will be asked the ID of the game you wish to enable the feed for. You can find this in the Steam game's product page URL, or on SteamDB. (For example, TF2's ID is `440.)
You can then select a channel from the list that SnailBot provides, using Next Page
or Previous Page
to see all channels on the server (if the server has more than 25 channels).
You will then be asked if you want role mentions to be enabled. If enabled, SnailBot will mention a role whenever a new post is created. You can choose one from the list using Next Page

You will be asked for the link to the site / rss feed. Provide the link. (ex: https://discordstatus.com/history.atom

SnailBot will ask if you wish to include replies in the feed. By default, replies are enabled. If you do not want replies included, click the Toggle Replies
button.
